Who can say no to delicious sticks of chocolate? There will be cute decorations to put on them as well, so don't miss out~ Our very first KAMP event of the year took place on October 29th. KAMP (Korean Adoptee Mentor Program) has been the main community service program run by Wellesley KSA for the past four years. We serve Korean adoptees in the Boston area by acting as supportive mentors. On this first KAMP event, we celebrated Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving, with all our mentees and mentors. Together, we made Korean hacky sacs (jaegi) and rice cakes (songpyeon) traditionally made during Chuseok. We also played games to get to know each other better and celebrated our 'holiday' with yummy Korean food. Our next KAMP wll be on December 3rd from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Although Wellesley mentor seats have already been filled up, please contact [email protected] if you would like to get involved by helping out at future KAMP events as a volunteer. Thank you!
