"Wedding Palace" is an award-winning family comedy about an international cyber-love affair. As the first independent co-production between American and South Korean film industries, it has been described as the Korean-American version of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." Director Yoo is the 1st Korean-American female director to shoot an international US-Korea co-production.
The film stars Korean-American actor BRIAN TEE (The Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift) and South Korean actress KANG HYE-JUNG (old Boy) in her American debut. They are supported by comedians BOBBY LEE (MadTV), STEVE PARK (Fargo), and MARGARET CHO.
Also features original music from five-time Grammy-nominated jazz pianist DAVID BENOIT, Korean recording artist KIM JOHAN and Korean indie-band PEPPERTONES.
