Culture Show is always one of KSA's biggest events of the year. If you would like to meet new people, interact with other KSA members, and show our culture to the Wellesley community and the great Boston community, join the culture show. Right now we are still looking for 5 people to joing nanta, a drum beat based performance that incorporate a variety of different instruments. No experience is necessary to join. Participate in the final and biggest performance of the culture show!
Contact Sophia Chen or [email protected] for more information. This past weekend, KSA hosted our very first scavenger hunt throughout Boston: Running Girl! Based on the Korean variety program, Running Man, we had about five teams compete in a scavenger hunt throughout Newbury and Bolyston Street for a grand prize of a $20 gift card to Starbucks for each member on the team. We started off the hunt at 3PM and ended with a successful dinner at Buk-Kyung in Allston. Thanks to everyone who participated in the hunt and came out to help (thanks, Tufts!). Lastly, congratulations to the winning team! We hope you all had a great time :) Check out pictures from the winning team performing some of their scavenger hunt tasks below! Wellesley KSA is really excited to present to you, the first-ever KSA scavenger hunt, “Running Girl: BOSTON CHALLENGE." Based on the South Korean variety show, “Running Man,” our scavenger hunt will be a day full of exciting challenges, exploration and fun around Boston.
We will be starting at the Hynes Convention Center MBTA Subway Stop at 3:00 pm and meeting at Buk-Kyung II in Allston at 5:30 pm. We are inviting up to 50 Wellesley students (in teams of 5) to participate in the scavenger hunt and dinner! You don't have to be Korean or in KSA to participate, and you don't need to have full team to register, though we encourage you to invite your KSA friends or family members to do it with you. Sign up through this survey by 8 pm this Friday, Oct. 14: https://docs.google.com/a/wellesley.edu/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dF9CSnFodTZQRFpwdVg5OXNJZEFyZmc6MQ We will be providing transportation from Wellesley to Hynes and to the restaurant for only those signed up (50 max), so sign up fast! If you have questions, email [email protected]. Thursday, October 13th, 9:30-10 pm in the Campus Center, bottom floor, Cow Chair Room! Any and all Wellesley students are welcome! A special shout-out to first-years: Love K-Pop? Love dance? Want to get to know more people? Join the First-Year Dance, coordinated by First-Year Representative Allison Kim! It's a great way to get involved and get to know your peers and upperclasswomen. Shout-out to seniors: Remember the good old days of being a first-year and doing first-year dance? This time around there is going to be a SENIOR DANCE act as well, come find out more! We hope to see everyone soon! |
