KSA is kickstarted this year with a bang!
Our new E-board has worked very hard to put together 4 major events for September:

1) KSA 1st General Meeting

On Thursday, September 12th, E-board members held a general meeting in Lakehouse living room. We were so happy with the turnout--not only did we see familiar faces, but we also saw many new faces as well. There was so much bonding that night over icebreakers and, of course, snacks (because what is a KSA general meeting without good food?). This was and is a very big motivating factor for the KSA E-board, so that we can continue creating events that allow us to bond and grow as a community!

2) Euphoria

This was our MOST SUCCESSFUL Euphoria yet. As our biggest party of the semester,  e-board was so excited to put this event together. We were proud to have DJ ODDnary, the one of the hottest female DJ's in Korea, spin for us that night. Over 500 people showed up this time and we have so much excitement for the next Euphoria!

3) KSA Elections

On Sunday, September 22nd, many brilliant candidates prepared speeches for KSA's open E-board positions. This year's e-board was so thrilled with the overwhelming talent that every candidate had. We are now thrilled to have filled our positions and are excited to work together as a full E-board!!

4) Mid Autumn Festival

So, Sunday was a very busy day. Right after our KSA elections, we along with CSA, JC, and Slater put together a Mid-Autumn Festival. Mooncakes, ricecakes, and other delicious delicacies were served to celebrate this lunar holiday.

Can't wait for November!

If you would like to meet new people, interact with other KSA members, and show our culture to the Wellesley community and the great Boston community, join the culture show. Right now we are still looking for 5 people to joing nanta, a drum beat based performance that incorporate a variety of different instruments. No experience is necessary to join. Participate in the final and biggest performance of the culture show!

A special shout-out to first-years: Love K-Pop? Love dance? Want to get to know more people? Join the First-Year Dance, coordinated by First-Year Representative Allison Kim! It's a great way to get involved and get to know your peers and upperclasswomen.

Shout-out to seniors: Remember the good old days of being a first-year and doing first-year dance? This time around there is going to be a SENIOR DANCE act as well, come find out more!

We hope to see everyone soon!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival/Chuseok this fall. We had a great turn-out for our first time participating in this event which was co-hosted with CSA, Slater and EALL Dept. It was so delicious with lots of chinese and korean food, and 떡 (Rice cake)! Hope you got to grab some food and enjoy the short presentations... if not, next year!

Props go out to Sophia Chen and Soyeun for helping orchestrate this event, and to our awesome e-board for helping set-up and clean up! Also, Esther Im, our lovely VP, presented a great ppt about Chuseok during the event. Great job everyone~
